Geography: People Live in Places – Eddy the Darug Boy
Nature is important for many reasons, both to people and to wildlife. This Geographical Inquiry uses the story of ‘Eddy the Darug Boy’ to focus students on the spaces and places around Brewongle. It helps them understand why these spaces are important and how we can look after them. The program includes Geographical Tools such as Maps and Fieldwork, with post-visit lessons and assessments.

NEW Science & Technology: Living World – A Day in the Life of a Darug Kid
Through this scientific inquiry with a difference, students will gain a deep understanding of the value of nature and the vital role it plays/played in Darug people’s lives. This program supplements learning across both content strands of the Living World unit. It explicitly incorporates Aboriginal culture, with a focus on local Darug Country and culture.

Brewongle Environmental Education Centre
